چکیده
Jet impingement cooling has been utilized to improve the performance of solar energy technologies such as collectors, PV systems, PVT and CPV systems. This article provides an overview current systems using jet impingement. The distinctions between each study, research results system design, are examined contrasted. summary demonstrates that collectors most widely technology owing their direct manufacture. There 20 collector studies, 5 for photovoltaic, 9 photovoltaic thermal, 8 concentrator photovoltaic. Geometric characteristics diameter, spacing, nozzle height critical maximum performance. Furthermore, numerous kinds coolant jets, air, water, nanofluid, may be seen from overview. Hybrid or CPVT perform better since they create thermal electrical energy. As a result, more into developing hybrid is advised.

Thermal Performance of Jet Impingement with Spent Flow Management
The present study proposes novel micro-jet impingement heat sink with effusion holes for flow extraction. The design consists of impingement nozzles surrounded by multiple effusion holes to take away the spent fluid. A three-dimensional numerical model is used for steady, incompressible, laminar flow and conjugate heat transfer for the performance analysis of the proposed design. The computatio...
متن کاملOutdoor Performance Analysis of a Photovoltaic Thermal (PVT) Collector with Jet Impingement and Compound Parabolic Concentrator (CPC)
This paper discusses the effect of jet impingement of water on a photovoltaic thermal (PVT) collector and compound parabolic concentrators (CPC) on electrical efficiency, thermal efficiency and power production of a PVT system. A prototype of a PVT solar water collector installed with a jet impingement and CPC has been designed, fabricated and experimentally investigated. The efficiency of the ...
متن کاملGranular jet impingement on a fixed target.
In this work discrete element modeling (DEM) was applied to the flow of granular jets against a target. The resulting sheetlike or conelike formations under different conditions are described and explained by means of kinetic analysis. A qualitative and quantitative comparison with experimental results [Cheng, Phys. Rev. Lett. 93, 188001 (2007)] provides interesting insights in the theoretical ...
متن کاملRarefication Effects on Jet Impingement Loads
Rarefication effects on jet impingement loads are studied by comparing recent new formulas at the collisionless flow limit and numerical simulations. The jet exit size is finite, and can be either planar or round. In the simulations, the jets have different degrees of rarefication, with a Knudsen (Kn) number ranging from 0 to infinity; i.e., the jet flows can be continuum, collisional, or colli...
متن کاملImproving Cyclone Efficiency by Recycle and Jet Impingement Streams
In this paper a new process is presented for improving efficiency of cyclone de-dusting systems. The cyclone is coupled with a specially designed cylindrical chamber which includes a rotating tube inside it with air impinging nuzzles, drilled on the peripheral surface of the tube. The nuzzles help in pushing and throwing the particles to the outer radius distances during downward flow of du...
